Welcome to another post in our DPM-EduSeries! Today we will be looking at connection threading!

The threaded connection is a crucial part of the drill pipe assembly. Without these threaded connections, we would not be able to join the drill pipes together. To reach the required depth of drilling, hundreds or thousands of drill pipes have to be connected and these drill pipes are connected to each other with the threaded connection. In addition to API connections, DP-Master offers the market fit-for-purpose drill pipe connections such as the DPM-DS, DPM-HighTorque, DPM-MT^® and DPM-ST^®. Depending on the requirements of the customers, the selected connections are threaded using highly accurate CNC machines to ensure the dimensions are within the tight tolerances in order for the connections to perform as per the intended design.
